A field manual for FrontWars
Four marks, one rule
One rule governs this site: a number appears only if we read it off the screen in a dated session, or the sentence says who said it. Four marks record which of those happened. Nothing here is estimated, averaged, or carried over from another guide.
- TESTEDeverything below describes our own session, 2026-11-03
- IN-GAMEthe Instructions screen is quoted, not paraphrased
- OFFICIAL ONLYtwo store claims are attributed to Steam and CrazyGames
- NEEDS CHECKno unverified figure is printed as a number

The four marks
TESTED means we performed the action in the client and wrote down what happened, with the date. A tested claim can still be wrong for you — a balance patch changes costs — which is why every page carries the date it was checked instead of an evergreen promise.
IN-GAME means we are quoting the client's own text: the Instructions screen, a tooltip, a button label. The quotation marks are load-bearing; if we had to summarise, the mark would be different.
OFFICIAL ONLY means the claim comes from a store page or the game's own site and we have not reproduced it. Steam says Early Access began 2026-10-04 and that 147 reviews stand at 74% positive; those are Valve's numbers, not ours.
NEEDS CHECK means we know the question matters and we have not answered it. The page says what is missing and why, and the number is absent rather than plausible.
What a session is
A session is a sitting where we open the browser client at a known size, record the version string from the What's new panel, and take screenshots of what we claim. Today's session is 2026-11-03, client v42.5. Screenshots are stored with the session folder and the plates on this site are cropped from them, never redrawn.
The version matters more than the date. A page checked on the right day against the wrong build is a wrong page.
What we will not do
We do not print a cost we have not hovered. We do not compute an average from a single match. We do not describe a game mode from its name. We do not publish a tier list, because a tier list is a claim about the whole playerbase made from one person's matches, and this manual has no sample large enough to support it.
Where another guide prints a number we could not reproduce, we say so on that page and give both figures. The most useful disagreement we found is the defence post: a competing wiki lists 100,000, the client's tooltip says 50,000. One of us is out of date, and the page says which one we read.
How to check us
Open the client, hover the build bar, and compare. If a figure here disagrees with your screen, the date in the page foot tells you which build we saw; the contact page is how you tell us, and corrections are applied with the date changed rather than silently.
